On the fun side, I was at a wake this afternoon ( yes still do those but not as often) and ran into Geri McPartlin, Brian’s mom.
When I was a freshman in the IL House and the youngest member, Brian’s late father, Bob, was a long standing member and a good friend.
When he died Geri went to work for the hotel and restaurant union, and you know Brian’s career. We all used to go to a replica “speakeasy” to hear Geri sing and Brian would sometimes join in. great voices.
Geri told me that Brian was in Israel with your dad and I told her no matter what Brian did he could not pass!!!
I told her I’d tell you. She says hello
Now for business. When is good for us to discuss the couple of potentials pending? Mohammed has asked me to work with you to determine our participation in each and to memorialize that.
