Afternoon Guys,

One point we didn’t discuss on our call today was setting up meetings with the economic development representatives in Oregon (similar to those in NY). Just wanted to confirm that we should go ahead and try to arrange these meetings while Ormazabal is in Oregon meeting with the Iberdrola reps. Please confirm.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello all,

We have had a very good conversation with Roberto Fernández regarding the New York State possibilities. He has really liked the idea of locating an Ormazabal team there of 10 or 12 people focused in offshore technology, as he considers NY one of the most important States in offshore development. Having this new location, they could focus the Iowa facility in Transformer Substations for onshore and the NY facility for offshore cubicles.

Ormazabal is close to acquiring one of their cubicle distributors, who has installed all their offshore wind farms in UK. This distributor is considering the possibility of installing an office in Canada. Roberto told us he could persuade this distributor to open their business in USA instead of Canada, having also a good entry to the latter’s market. He liked this idea very much.

Apart from this, we spoke about GE, which has recently acquired a Swedish company to develop a 4MW wind turbine generator (for offshore wind farms). They think GE is going to win an offshore project to be built by the end of 2011 the earliest, and it will be good to prepare a good position. GE has never developed an offshore wind farm, and they will need technical assistance. The idea will be having a high level meeting with GE on the Wednesday of April’s trip, in order to offer them both technical assistance and Ormazabal’s products, focusing on offshore.

I attach a document, sent by Roberto, which shows the European offshore market and Ormazabal’s market share, absolutely impressive. He told us he will have for Friday the draft of the final presentation for the Administration, which we will send you as soon as we have it.

Abel sent Roberto the last presentation you made; we will give you his feedback.

Best regards,
