Thanks for the referral.  Since we last had lunch we made a couple of changes here.  We have sold off our lobbying business to a co-located group called, EnGage.  EnGage now manages our former education clients and the point person at EnGage is Steve Schultz who used to be with us at Seneca so there is a seamless transition.  I know EnGage could be helpful on this.  I am cc:ing Steve on this email – let me know if you think they’d be interested in talking to Steve and following up with him.

 

Also, let me know what your schedule is like for lunch and I can fill you in on all that is going on here.

On another note, I received the below inquiry from a colleague in Princeton & your firm’s work came to mind. Apparently, the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation at Princeton University is looking for help in obtaining federal funding. It’s written as a job description, but I think that they really need a firm to assist them. I recall that you used to do that very successfully for a number of clients in the education arena. If you still do such work, might you be interested in talking to these folks? If not, might you know of someone who could help them out?

Lastly, it’d be great if we could catch up over lunch or coffee sometime soon.

It was good to see you both today, albeit briefly!

 

Following up on the Woodrow Wilson opportunity I mentioned:  Attached is the job description Tim wrote up, describing what they're looking for.   They are open to different models (doesn't need to be a hire or consultant -- whatever works) but this captures the gist of what they need.  It doesn't sound like they have the funding for more than a half-time, consultant, or for-service arrangement with a mid-level sort of person, but they sound willing to be flexible.

 

If you know of anyone who might be interested, feel free to forward this to them.  I'm also happy to pass names or contact info back and forth; whatever works.
