Abel,
Currently we don't have any projects in Romania that are less than 50 MW and the group in charge of them have not received EU money in the past and do not have expectations in receiving them in the future. Most projects, because of government regulations and high risk factors, have been financed solely through private funds. They DO have a track record of development and sale but have been privately developed to this point.
I do not think these projects are of any interest to you with the inability to use debt financing.
If my assumption is correct, the Bulgarian market is not of any interest to you?
Romania could be of interest if debt financing is available?
Other Non-EU Balkan states are not of interest?
but other CEE countries could be of interest?

If projects should be introduced to us in the future that follow these assumptions, and if these assuptions are corret, I will inform you.

Please keep in touch,
Best regards,
Zachary Hampson

Currently we do not have any hydro projects in the continuous European region but do have wind projects in Romania.  Other projects are in Balkan states not yet part of the EU.

Zachary, which other countries are you involved in?, Bulgaria is not a country in which we are particularly interested in. Perhaps we could be interested more in other members of the European Community such as . Thanks

Abel,

We currently are looking at some interesting investments in Bulgaria but I suppose your portfolio consists of energy investments.  Are there specific energy sectors that interest you?  As you know the renewables sector has increased significantly over the past year with wind and solar leading the way.  But Hunter mentioned you were interested in hydro – a more reliable source.  Grenville represents projects in all three mentioned sources and has a long-term investment of several hydro projects packaged for an end valuated production of approximately +20 MW (water treatment in some locations to municipalities could be included).  If this is of interest I am available for a conference call at your convenience.

Great meeting you too Zach.  I’ve cc’d Abel on this email.  Abel and I are partners on a number of projects.  As I said Abel and his family are very heavily involved in the Hydro space and I am sure he would be interested in what we talked about briefly.  Why don’t the two of you exchange notes and then maybe we can all talk by conf call at some point.  Best, Hunter.
