I think that would be great - Rob McCord.  You would have to probably pick up the phone and call him today or tomorrow as we are just two weeks out.

Also reach out to Chaffe to see if he can suggest anyone from SEIU. What about Karen Maza the general counsel from NYCERS. There is a club that I went to on Upper East Side that was very cool that was relaxed and more modern- Marc LoPresti will remember name of it.

Also I think agenda will shape invite list. How do we see this working? Who presents to whom- are there formal presentations- do we have discussion and then a dinner or is it all one thing. How many people. You guys have probably thought this all through so sorry for asking questions already answered.

Hunter-

Alex and I had a talk today about our policy dinner on the 14th of July in NY.  Wanted to make sure you were OK with a few things we decided and get your input.  I cc:ed Alex so it is easier to get input to both of us.

1) We are confirming but at least Izzy Englander and Nick Rohatyn will be attending.
2) The theme of the dinner will be Pension Fund Unfunded Liabilities.
3) Alex is going to reach out to Gov. Paterson to see if he can attend and reach out to Randi Weingarten to see if either she can attend or if she thinks it it more appropriate have the relevant head of the AFT's pension fund attend.
4) Should Alex consider reaching out to NY State Comptroller Napoli?  She knows his Chief of Staff well.  I forgot to mention to Alex but I know you wanted to invite Joe Rocks (Alex, he's a trustee on the PA State Pension Fund).  Should we reach out to Joe Rocks first?  I think so, but let me know your thoughts.
5) Alex is looking at Midtown locations - mostly hotels but hotels that have a intimate, library like feel.  Not hotel ballrooms.
6) We are going to reach out to Chris Chafe to see if he has some suggestions.  May be good to get someone from EPI (Jared Bernstein's old shop) to come and talk about unfunded liabilities from a think tank perspective.

Hunter, do you agree with all of the above?  Thoughts?  We'll obviously need more to fill out the guest list, but these are just our initial thoughts.

Best,

Eric
