I hope all is well and things have not been too hectic for you. I really enjoyed our breakfast together a few months back and wanted to find an opportunity to get back together again.
On July 14th, my partner, Chris Heinz, and I are hosting a small dinner of no more than 12-14 people at the Century Club (7 West 43rd Street) for a diverse group of people. Cocktails will start at 6pm and Dinner will start at 7pm. There is no real agenda to the dinner, except that Chris and I want to start bringing together interesting people from the political, investment and labor worlds and try and spark some interesting conversations. I thought you would be a perfect guest if you can make it.
Governor Paterson has already agreed to attend and we will also have attendees from a couple of hedge funds (such as Millennium Capital, The Rohatyn Group (Nick Rohatyn has confirmed) and Third Point) and Labor (people responsible for investments with the New York Teachers, SEIU and AFL-CIO). And of course, Chris will be there representing Rosemont Seneca but also has a Family Office perspective on things as well.
Let me know if you think you will be able to attend. I am sure it will be a fun evening.
