This was a great investment and
a big bang for only $2,000. Thanks for organizing it John and Bob.

Subject: Governor O'Mally Event Follow up
Last evening, Michael Ianbinet, Peter Denitz and I attended
the O’malley event in Wilmington Delaware. It was a positive
occurrence and we received a fair amount of direct face and conversation time
with key individuals.
The event was at a private home and I estimate no more than
40 people attended if that.
Governor O’Malley approached us and referenced our
recent phone conversation. We talked about HNTB and the project in general.
Peter Denitz and Michael engaged extensively his Chief of staff and other
follow up meetings are being set up with other persons. Business cards
were exchanged.
Governor Markell from Delaware engaged us as well and when
we mentioned Yassmin, he knew who we were and he also mentioned Roger. The
conversation was positive and he engaged Peter Denitz about our work in his
state.
Senator Carper, who holds a number of key positions in the
Senate and is the current Chairman of the board of Amtrak also spent personal
time with us. We talked about Amtrak, and HSR. When we mentioned the
Baltimore tunnel he became enthusiastic and said hold on and he went to bring
over another person over to us who runs a 1/3 rd of his district and asked us
to brief her on the tunnel project and its importance.
It was a very worthwhile event, we were given individuals
attention by the key individuals mentioned and we were also thanked several
time for our support.
