I have made contact with Children’s Hospital through the Chairman of the Board of Trustees who asked the Hospital CEO, Dr. Mandell to help facilitate an appointment. Last evening, I sent the x-rays, mri and lab reports and they were received this morning and given to Dr. Millis for review. At 8 am we received a call from the Chief Executive Officer’s assistant acknowledging receipt of the information. They appear to be on top of the issue. Thank you for your support.

Hunter,
Hope you enjoyed Father’s Day. It is a nice holiday. I need to ask you a big favor. On March 5, 2011, my six year old grand-daughter, Victoria, was taking a ski lesson at Ski Liberty and her ski instructor tripped and fell on her as he was getting off the chair lift. Unbelievable. Victoria ended up having her hip dislocated (hip ball pushed out of the socket). She was anesthetized and the ball was put back in place on March 6th. The problem with this injury is the fear that blood will not flow into the hip area since there is only one blood vessel. We have been closely monitoring Victoria’s recovery and late last week, she had another X ray taken and it showed some discoloration in the hip area where she was injured. We are getting an MRI today. The leading expert in pediatric orthopedics who specializes in pediatric hips is Dr. Michael B Millis at Children’s Hospital in Boston. When we called they said that his office would not consider scheduling an appointment until they review the Xrays and MRI. These will be sent today. Timing is a major issue since it has to do with blood flow. Do you have any relationships in Boston to help us expedite an appointment with Dr. Millis at Children’s Hospital? It would be very appreciated.
Brian just told me that we are having a conference call at 5 pm today with you, Mike, Chuck, Tony Brian and me. Thanks for following up.
