Thanks for following up.  I sincerely appreciate it.  Last night, we came down to Easton and early this morning, drove to Dewey Beach to see Brian and his family who are vacationing there.  The sand was so hot today, I had to wear shoes or my feet would get blisters. It was also too hot for his children.   Brian told me that he went paddle boarding (early in the morning ) in the ocean.  Saw dolphins.  Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday July 27th.  What is the proper attire?  Have a nice weekend.

Marvin,

I spoke with Amtrak this morning and found out some more information
on your trip to the Greenbrier in August. They confirmed that they
recently received the request and expect it to get approved early next
week. The individual who directly handles the special car movements is
off on Fridays and Saturdays, but I was assured that there were going
to be no issues with the car on those dates. The process is that
Amtrak will notify the private car owner that the request has been
approved and then they will notify you.

Let us know if you haven't heard anything mid-next week and we'll follow up.

Special Movements Department (Supervisor Billie Ernest) has to sign off and she “beats to her own drummer”.  Any assistance in getting Ms. Billie  to look at the request would be appreciated.  Thank you.   Hope you arrived in Michigan for your summer holiday.  Summer in Washington is no fun.  Best wishes.
