Neil-

This isn't something we want to get involved in.  Most importantly from an optics perspective and secondly just a lack of bandwidth to spend any time raising money for this.  If anyone else on this email feels differently - weigh in, but I am pretty sure that was the consensus when Hunter and I last discussed it.

Thanks for flagging the opportunity though.  I am sure someone will make money on this!

Best,

Eric

Guys,

Is this something we want to try and get involved in from an Advisory and Fund Raising perspective? Or do we want to pass and not pursue. Please advise.

Best,

Neil

Chris---hope the boat rides home are keeping you cool.  Re the used fuel project, we have made exceptional headway.  With the assistance of the Russian ambassador here Sergei Kisliyak, RosAtom (Russia's DoE and AEC rolled into one) will be here in late September to sign on as part of the joint venture.  With that in place, the chances of getting the concession from Russia to store fuel is about as close to 100% as anyone can guarantee.

As I also mentioned, the State Department official in charge of issuing the approval to move and store US owned fuel (MB-10) told us that if we had this in place, he could call Taiwan, South Korea and Japan and within days, they would act to buy storage for the 10,000 tons each.  He also said that $1.5 million/ton was a bargain.

I pass all this on because it is essential that we have either the first tranche of the $15million or an absolute guarantee that it will be available once RosAtom signs an agreement in September.

My question is whether or not you can accommodate to this timetable?

I will be in NY Sept 7/8 for board meetings and can obviously come up if needed before then.

Please let me know what you think.

Best Harlan
