We are pleased to invite you to join the 
inaugural Conference of the BRICLab at Columbia UniversityNew York, on 2 December 2011, at Low Library, 116th Street and Broadway, Columbia University. The conference is entitled “The Rise of BRIC: Impact on Global Policymaking” and is sponsored by Fórum das Américas.

Registration for this conference is free upon registration and open to all.

The rise of BRIC (Brazil, Russia India and China) is a transforming event for the world. The BRICLab will examine their increasing influence and the implications of their growing power through a combination of classes, executive programs and conferences. 
   
We will examine the shift of the economic center of gravity of the world economy toward emerging countries and the political, strategic and environmental implications of the rise of BRIC. In this inaugural conference, we will also focus on the ‘B’ in BRIC: Brazil; therefore discussing the changing power and business dynamics brought about by the rise of Brazil.
