He and his brother encouraged his father to marry again,[6] and Jill Jacobs became Beau's stepmother in 1977. His half-sister Ashley was born in 1981.

[If there is a way to delete this sentence that would probably be good.] From 2001-2008, he was a founding partner of ″Oldaker, Biden, and Belair, LLP″, a Washington DC based law firm ,[1] and of the mergers and acquisitions firm "Eudora Global" I am not a founding partner- I am a board member.[8] Biden was chief executive officer, and later chairman, of the fund- of fund hedge fund "PARADIGM Global Advisors", which he co-founded (I did not co-found- it was founded in the mid 90s by James Park- I acquired a controlling interest with his uncle James Biden and disgraced financier Allen Stanford (Stanford had nothing to do with the fund- Paradim was one of hundreds of alternative asset managers that were offered toStanford clients for investment in their portfolios- any money, which was small relative to our fund'stotal AUM, invested on behalf of Stanford banking clients was fully returned to those clients at a profit based upon Paradigm's performance. No one from Paradigm ever met Alan Stanford or had any dealings with him. , who was sentenced to 110 years jail for a multi-billion-dollar Ponzi scheme.[7] At MBNA, a major US bank, Biden was employed as a senior vice president.[7] Following that, Biden was appointed by Bill Clinton to serve in the United States Department of Commerce[7] under Secretaries Norman Mineta and William M. Daley. He was director of ecommerce policy issues in the Department of Commerce.[7] On May 16, 2006, Biden was nominated by President George W. I think he feels more than anything if you can wade through the bad parts of politics, that what you really have an opportunity to do is help people. One thing I did learn is that you don’t have to be a United States Senator to help people. You don’t have to be an elected official to serve.[1]
