Vadim – We are thinking of you and Ukraine today especially, due to your presidential election. Please keep us updated. Per our past conversations, I am writing to follow up with you and confirm that we did brief all the U.S. Congressional
members who we knew in advance were going to Ukraine this week.
Those members are: Senators Portman, Ayotte, and Cardin; Representatives Hoyer, Kaufman, Roskam, Kaptur, Shuster, Stockman, and Burgess. As discussed, they were all offered the chance to meet with you but none of them could commit to a
meeting in advance because they did not control their schedules and due to security concerns; we did give them your name and email address in case they decided they could meet at the last minute. (Note: The last we heard was that Senator Ted Cruz is definitely
going to Ukraine before the end of May but after the presidential elections today.)
Please note that there are several Members who have been very engaged on Ukraine did not fly over due to scheduling conflicts. We will be briefing these members on Burisma in the future, and they are: Senator Levin, Senator Barrasso, Senator
Hoeven, Senator Warner, Senator Durbin, and Congressman Quigley.
