See below.  I have shared with David Wade as well.

They specifically avoid answering any questions regarding you aside from saying that your compensation is inaccurate and answer everything else generally.   The whole less is more theory.   Let me know your thoughts.

I think they want our feedback or at least want to send the draft to Vadim tomorrow in case he wants to send them to the WSJ by the end of the day tomorrow.

Eric —

Here are the questions and answers re: Hunter. Let us know your thoughts.  Thanks — Ryan

Why did Burisma decide to bring in a new management team in 2013 and later add prominent foreigners including Devon Archer, Hunter Biden and Alexander Kwasniewski to the board? Was this in preparation for an IPO or another transaction abroad? Has the transaction been delayed?

In 2013, the company embarked on its next phase of growth. As part of this transition,  an experienced investment banker, Alan Apter, was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors and the company made strategic moves to strengthen its administrative staff. As we continue to expand our business, we recognize the importance of establishing best practices in corporate governance and transparency and bringing top quality knowledge and experience to bear.

What sorts of projects would the company like to take on in the U.S.? How has Mr. Biden been pursuing Burisma’s interests in the U.S.? Why is Burisma interested in geothermal energy in particular?

We remain focused on current business operations in Europe and Asia and have no current plans to pursue similar operations in the U.S.

Geothermal energy is a clean and inexhaustible resource  that is obtained through many of the same production components as gas. We plan to bring our technical expertise, experience and equipment to bear on this emerging field.,

We understand that Mr. Biden is receiving roughly 100,000 dollars a month to serve on the board. Do you believe the remuneration is commensurate with similar positions at other Ukrainian companies?

That is inaccurate.. As a private company, we do not disclose compensation of our employees or directors.

Ukraine’s Anticorruption Action Center has said the addition of Mr. Biden and Mr. Kwasniewski to the board of Burisma represents an attempt to “whiten” a dubious reputation and create a “shield” against prosecution or asset seizures. Do you have a response to this comment?
