Yooooo. Hope you enjoyed your swing through Latin America. 

Gregory J may have mentioned to you that the VP's press secretary departing piqued the interest of a reporter you know. And apparently they haven't landed on anyone new yet. 

It's really not at all cool for reporters to go seeking employment in the administration and instead kind of have to be approached for such things. But we do kind of have to find a way to float our names in order to be approached. So somebody mentioned me to Psaki the other day, and she liked it but the veep's office isn't really her domain. 

My interest in it is that I like profiles and positive, insightful stuff (unless the dude's name is Willard Mitt Romney and I destroyed him), and I got the sense that since there are a couple of big goals for the next 14 months and a need for some legacy coverage there might be a real hunger for somebody who can push that. 

And since he's not running, maybe some people who may have had interest in the job went away, but it would be ideal for someone who wants to pivot out of the press. I also have no idea what they're thinking. Thoughts?
