Thank you, gents! I am sure you know best. We'll go the way you suggest.

I agree entirely with Irek's point about the panellists.
Once I have thanked Joschka Fischer, I can invite the panellists to join me on stage, all coming up together.

As for the book presentation, I would encourage Maciej to make some concise remarks about the book;  but if President K does wants to say a few words, I think it would actually be better to keep him on stage after his speech. I can then call up Maciej, and first ask President K to explain the significance of what he and Pat Cos did; before turning to Maciej to tell us (realtively briefly) how he put the book together. President Kwasnieski can stay on stage for that, as it will be quite short (5 minutes max?)
At the end of that, I will encourage people to collect a copy of the book from the stall, and to feel free to talk further with both men about the project, and the situation in Ukraine during the rest of the evening.

How does that sound?

Dear Irek,
Thank you for your inputs!!
I will certainly rely upon your experience.
David, what do you think ?

Dear Vadim,

I suggest to consider two changes:

1.       It may be awkward for the panel discussion to take their places seated on the podium already in the beginning. Probably Prince when speaking and Nikolai would be speaking with their back to the them. The same considers the longer address of Joschka Fischer. It would be more comfortable for panelists to sit in the first row and listen to the speakers, than to sit like “judges” on the podium all the time. I suggest that they be called to take their seats only when the panel discussion is announced.

2.       Re point 13 – I suggest simply to inform that copies of the books are available in the lobby. Do not suggest loudly that the President will give autographs, as then everybody will stand in a cue for an hour to get his signature. The President will anyway give signatures to those who ask, but then signing will not turn into a massive event.

Best regards,

Irek

Subject: Monaco Forum script

Dear colleagues,

Hope, you are doing well. I would like to brief you re the script of our upcoming Forum in Monaco.

We've just discussed it with David Eades, who is moderating the event.

So please, see below the rough script.

Should you have any comments, let me know.

1. At approx. 3pm David will invite all guests to take their seats in the ballroom of the Yacht Club and speakers (Ilkka Kanerva, Andris Piebalgs, Jean Arnold Vinois, Hunter Biden and TJ Glauthier) to take their seats on stage.

2. David will invite HSH Prince Albert for an opening speech at the tribune on the stage.

3. Afterwards, David will invite to the stage for a few welcoming words the President of Burisma and a founder of the Forum Nikolay Zlochevskyi.

4. After his welcoming words, Nikolay Zlochevskyi will present a gift ( symbol of the forum) to HSH Prince Albert.

5. David will invite Prince Albert and Nikolay to take their seats in the audience and will invite Joschka Fischer for his opening speech before the panel discussion.

6. After Mr Fischer's speech David will invite Mr Fischer to take his place on the audience and will start the panel discussion with speakers.

7. The panel discussion will include 3-5 minute monologues from each speaker; interaction between David and speakers; q&a with the audience.

8. After the panel discussion, David will invite Aleksander Kwasniewski for a closing speech.

9. After the closing speech by Aleksander Kwasniewski, David will invite him to take his place in the audience.

10. After panel discussion, we will proceed with the book presentation part of the Forum. We will be presenting the book called Mission Ukraine written by a modern polish author Maciej Olchawa. It deals with the Cox kwasniewski mission in Ukraine and the events at that time.

11. David will introduce the book and its author. He will also invite the author to the tribune for a short speech.

12. The author will say a few words about the book and possibly address Mr Kwasniewski for a short comment as one of the key figures portrayed in the book.

13. After this, David will invite all attendees to take a copy of the book and possibly have it signed by the author and Mr Kwasniewski.

14. After this part of the Forum, David will announce the end of the official part of the Forum and invite all guests and speakers FTI join the evening reception (in the same ballroom), saying that in 10-15 minutes, we will proceed with the reception opened by the world's leading tenor Jonas Kaufmann and renown pianist Stellario Fagone.

15. Then David will announce the performance by Jonas Kaufmann and Stellario Fagone. It will be the start of the reception.
