I will reach out to the University of Delaware (UD) team this morning to confirm the new date for your site visit to the ice rinks and to discuss the UD science center. Alan Levin, Cabinet Secretary for Economic Development in Delaware and Bernice Whaley, Deputy Director of Economic Development Office are also looking forward to meeting your team! Alan + Bernice are appointed by Governor Jack Markell to lead economic development in the State of Delaware. They both come to state government straight from private industry so they have a strong understanding of and commitment to private industry! Also, Alan and the Governor led the Fisker project. You and Dan referenced that model as a compelling area of interest, especially as it relates to the federal funding that was involved. Discussions regarding any specifics of that model may be more appropriate in a separate meeting with Alan to protect the confidentiality of Fisker's business plan
