In a new stage of public service, Joe Biden will continue post-Vice Presidency to work on the same issues that he committed himself to while serving as US Senator and Vice President. The Biden Center will highlight this work while encouraging others to engage in civic responsibility and civility.

The Center will also focus on Dr. Jill Biden’s work as Second Lady—an educator and military mom—as well as the legacy of their son, Beau Biden, Delaware’s former Attorney General.   

The Center’s primary areas of concentration will include several pillars: American Democratic System; Equality and Civil Rights; Ending Violence Against Women; Military Families; Community Colleges; Protecting Children
