Marija, Can you talk tomorrow or are you off for Veteran's Day. Let me know what times can work for you. We are looking forward to receiving your team's proposal. Please let me know if you have any additional questions about direction or scope. In the interim I have two inquiries: 1. We are encountering a market access / customs issue in Nigeria, which may require a resolution on the most senior executive levels. In sum, Nigerian Customs has decided to arbitrarily treat our paper product as "contraband" and auction it for sale. The product, paper pre-printed forms that are used by telecom companies in Nigeria, has been previously imported into Nigeria without customs issues. Since this spring, Customs has held, stopped or seized three of our shipments. The customer would add PIN numbers to the forms in country and some other information and transform them into phone vouchers. Our customer delivery has been impacted and we would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible, as well as address a long-term resolution. Do you provide this type of market access support and if so, can you give us a ballpark cost for this project? We are happy to present your capabilities to the business unit owner, in parallel or separately from our other discussions. 2. When we last met in Washington, Tim has mentioned to you few emerging business opportunities we have been incubating. One of them is known as Project Accesso - a self service platform for immigration documents (opening door to all government forms and e-government services). Our partner in this effort is ClearPath, a two-year-old start-up, that is simply put the "turbo tax" of customs and immigration forms. Their CEO is Michael Petrucelli, former Director of DHS CIS. We would love to introduce you to Michael so that you can understand our entry strategy into e-government services. In addition, your VC side may be interested in this as well. I look forward to our next steps. It was our pleasure. We developed a good understanding of your team’s scope, unique approach and overall responsibilities. Frankly it’s refreshing and an exciting opportunity to potentially work with such a progressive team. Based on my notes, we netted out on developing two proposals for your review: the first being an overall State and Local Government sales and coverage model in the US market, and the second being a market development/sales approach and strategy for your e-Government Solution with a particular focus on the Middle East. Please clarify if I am off track. Our team will regroup and do a bit of brainstorming after which I’d love the opportunity to run a list of questions by you in order to help us develop a higher quality proposal. I will be in touch early next week. In the meantime, if you have any questions, comments, etc. – please feel free to reach out to us.
