Dear 10th Grade Parents; Here’s our opportunity make a difference for a child in need of blood donation. Currently, the hospital is treating over 1,400 kids with sickle cell disease and many, many more with chronicle illness. One unit of blood can help 4-5 children. Did you know that a newborn has approximately one tea cup of blood? Sponsor: Sidwell Friends School Location: 3825 Wisconsin Avenue, NW– Washington, DC 20016 When: March 1, 2017 Time: 10:00 – 3:30pm and need volunteers to donate blood. Please register!
