Dear R.,

2017 has only just begun. The calendar lays empty in front of us, full of promise.

But for refugee girls, each and every day on the calendar is already filled with challenges we'll likely never have to face.

In Serbia, it's the dead of winter, and refugee girls are shivering as freezing winds whip their tents. In Syria, they are exhausted, kept awake by the rattle of gunfire. And in South Sudan, they have no food to soothe their hunger pangs.

Help make sure that those who are cold, hungry or ill get the items they need most today and in the year to come. Renew your support: Become a Partner for Change by making a much-needed monthly gift to CARE by February 6th, and your first gift will be matched to DOUBLE in impact.

I have seen the faces of young girls who have fled terrible violence in Syria. They are immensely brave, strong, and resilient children. And right now, they need us. If you can, please help.

Sincerely,

Michelle Nunn
President and CEO, CARE
