Subject: Scheduling Request for Dr. Biden/Newman's Own Foundation

Eric – We are hoping that Dr. Biden can stop by this reception for Newman’s Own Foundation on Wednesday, December 1st. It’s from 6pm – 8:00pm at the Library of Congress. I’ve spoken to Anthony about this. They are trying to see if they can make it work. I would really appreciate any help you can give to make this happen. This is the first event that the Foundation has ever done in DC. (they’ve only done one EVER and it was in NYC earlier this month when they passed the 300 million dollar mark on grants given) Their work is amazing and they will be giving 2million + to military organizations including Fisher House, USO, Operation Home Front, and the National Military Family Association. The Honorary Hosts for the evening are Senator Roberts, Senator Inouye (pending), Congressman Larson, and Congressman Jones. The special guest is Admiral Mike Mullen.
