Dear 10th Grade Parents;Here are a few reminders for what promises to be a busy February!Thursday, February 9th at 8:00 am in the Choral Music Room: Conversation with Dr. Kasaan Holmes, upper school psychologist, with a focus on typical teenage development and the ever-changing demands of adolescent parenting.Friday, February 10th-Parent Coffee at the Pain Quotidien on Massachusetts Avenue, at 8.00 am.-Black Students Union (BSU) Show at the Caplin Theater, Arts Center Lobby, from 7:00 to 9:00 pmThursday, February 23, 8:00 a.m: 10th Grade Parent Coffee with Upper School Administrators in the Choral Music RoomSaturday, February 25th at 12:00 pm. 10th grade students will join students from the Lower School to help sort toys and clothes, restock shelves, make cards for food bags, and provide other support at A Wider Circle. Parents and siblings are also welcome. We will meet for pizza in the Upper School cafeteria at noon. A bus will transport volunteers to AWC’s Silver Spring warehouse for 1 pm, and will return volunteers to the Upper School for 3:30 pm.
