Totally agreed. Hence the email. Let's knock out non-contenders out of the gate. There's a massive amount of capital out there and we need to widdle down the matches for the product we've got. We've got great product and endless contenders which presents a challenge. But a high class problem. One thought which is a major marketing point verbally that is overlooked: Paul Sohn is one of the best investors of our generation. Top PM at Kingdon, he made the bet on the big short quietly with the Davos in Dallas guys as a side act and banked $25mm on a couple million dollar bet. His next act and what he's dedicated his family's core diversification strategy to is US commercial real estate over the next 4 years and he's picked one horse to take the risk with; Rosemont Real Estate. That has to be a key component of our whisper campaign. Again-- my opinion about India is that going there for business is a waste of time unless you make it a full time job. The best way to access Indian money is thru the US Indian community- which we can do in the comfort of our own offices. As for DB Armor that's something Ravi can do and we can send Rob Walker to execute. I have had this conversation with him a number of times before and he has said on most all occasions that he isn't sure why an Indian investor would invest in the U.S. when India is such a good investment. Why invest in U.S. real estate when Indian real estate is so hot, for example. He may be right, but I am not sure he has a good idea what his bank clients may be investing in abroad. There also may be a reluctance to use the chits of getting meetings with the Chairmen of the Banks but the offer has been there for Hunter to do so at some point and if we have our ducks in a row and you and Hunter have done your homework on Real Estate we can get the meetings if we want. I think we can do some strategizing on our own and use him in some select cases once we have more info the state of Indian investments in the U.S. > > > > Eric D. I've had a lot of unsuccessful goes at India with DBT but willing to try again as he's fired up. > Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T >
