Sound Healing is one of the oldest forms and most natural forms of healing known to our planet. The power of sound can restore one’s mind, body and spirit back to a state of balance. The harmonic vibrations from Sacred Sound have a deep penetrating effect on the receiver, promoting healing and well-being. This is not just an auditory experience, during a Sound Journey it is like receiving a full body massage. Most people fall into a deep state of relaxation. It’s a portal and pathway to meditation. The sounds act as the focal point, reducing and eliminating mind chatter, leading to a release of deep rooted tensions and emotional blocks. Many people emerge from the experience feeling lighter, more in balance, refreshed, and rejuvenated.

Even when working with an individual crystal singing bowl, the song it sings has a powerful means of entraining and harmonizing brainwave patterns. When playing alchemy crystal bowls we allow the frequencies and pulses of sound waves to slowly entrain and relax our brainwaves and in turn our parasympathetic nervous system boots into action to help the body enter into its natural healing mode. These experiences vary from person to person from a bodily sensation to an emotional release, an epiphany or even entering into a state of pure awareness.

Deva is passionate about the transformational power of sacred sound.
In 1997 while on a 4.5 month pilgrimage Deva acquired her first sacred sound tools - two Tibetan Singing Bowls and a set of tingshas. During this journey she also learned the art of meditation, most notably while studying with the Dalai Lama for ten days after the Tibetan New Year in McLeod Ganj, India. From there she has traveled and studied healing modalities in Belize, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Bali and she will be going to Egypt this December to study energy and sound!
She incorporates this kaleidoscope of cultures and wisdom into her sound journeys to create a unified field of pure awareness and healing, which leave most in a state of wonder, awe and gratitude. ✨

Deva has a certificate in Sound Healing from the Globe Institute of Sound & Consciousness in San Francisco and a Bachelors of Science in Cultural Anthropology, Biology and Art from Southern Oregon University, as well as many certifications in the healing arts.
