Please see the attached motion. In DC Superior Court all divorce cases are initially assigned to what is called the DR-2 calendar. That docket is filled with a lot of pro-se individuals and less complex matters. There is a DR-1 calendar that you can request to be moved to which is much more efficient and much more accustomed to handling cases with greater complexity and/or nuance.

I think it is a good idea to move the case to DR-1 so I am inclined to review the attached motion prepared by Kathleen’s counsel, offer any edits, and agree to submit to the Court. But before I do that I want to make sure you are OK with this way forward or if you have any questions?
