Appreciate all the help to date!


Ok, here is what we have for context start to finish:


1. Email below with original explanation and thought process after we
talked in early June. Obviously this is not BB Foundation Event as things
progressed but we did get the benefit of being vetted and checking out all
of NGS’s filings and 5o13c status along w/ actual percentage per dollar at
80 to 90 percent in actual benefit.


2. Attached is the Schedule of Events for July 25th.


3. A proposed press release from NGS for you and your family’s
review. Money is already in for a Scholarship and now will be in Beau’s
name.


4. Per our conversation yesterday as requested an actual Invite to
your Father. I have a hard copy as well.

Also very importantly on Schedule of Events if your Father’s schedule
allows, NGS is happy to switch around the actual timing of presenting the
actual scholarship to the recipient. Let me know if and who wants to play
and I will arrange w/ Jeff. Of course Merion has handled this type of
situation before and we can put who ever needs to talk to them about any
sort of Security as needed.


I am happy I could help and think this is a great way to keep Beau’s name
on the forefront in a time when our Country needs to remember the good
guys!

Hunter and Josh,


I am following up on the recent conversation I had with Hunter about an
event that a good friend of mine, Jeff Dawson, is hosting on July 25th at
Merion Golf Club outside of Philadelphia, where he is a member. The event
is for No Greater Sacrifice (NGS) www.*nogreatersacrifice*.org
<http://www.nogreatersacrifice.org>. NGS was started by a couple of
friends of Jeff’s that I have gotten to know as well. As background, I
met Jeff while working on a real estate project with my partners Chaffin
and Light in Maryland. Hunter has spent some time with them as well. He
and I became friends and during that time he got to know Beau (during his
Attorney General years) and most recently attended the Beau Biden
Foundation Golf Event at WCC as my guest where he had the pleasure of
meeting the Vice President. Jeff really enjoyed the encounters with Beau
and with the VP.


Jeff reached out last week to invite me to the NGS event that takes place
the Monday of the Democratic National Convention. Now about the event
itself; Jeff and NGS are hosting a golf outing and like Beau NGS is focused
on helping children. NGS, based in Washington DC, is dedicated to the
children of our nation’s fallen and wounded service members delivering
scholarships and resources to improve the quality of life through the
pursuit of higher education. With this in mind, Jeff and I discussed if
there was a way to honor Beau. After discussing this with Hunter, I went
back to Jeff and he and the Board of NGS would like to celebrate Beau as a
veteran by naming a full ride four year scholarship in Beau Biden’s honor.
The recipient will be in attendance for presentation at the July 25th
event. Before they proceed they certainly understand the need to ask the
Biden Family for their permission to honor Beau this way.


They are hoping that I could also help by extending an invitation to Vice
President Biden and Hunter to participate in any or all of the event. I
have been assured their attendance would not be publicized in any way and
it would be to show support to the service members that will be in
attendance. They are also hosting members of congress and other officials
who will be in town for the DNC. Attached is the event schedule.


I certainly think it would be a great thing to do and participate in but
also am very clear on scheduling and so forth and the family’s privacy.
Please review this as I am sure there will be questions and let me know how
to proceed and if this is something we can facilitate.


By the way I played the course last week with Jeff and it ate me up!!
