Welcome Back! We hope you had a great Thanksgiving. We hope you are
ready for a fun, but busy, three weeks.

1. Zoo Trip -- Tuesday, November 30th, 4x will go to the National Zoo
to observe Asian animals in connection with our December Asian Animal
Research Project. The class will travel to the National Zoo by school
bus. They will leave school at 9:00 am and will return by 1:00 for
afternoon classes. At the zoo, the class will break into small groups
to observe and to study the animals. Parent volunteers and students
should plan to dress warmly for rain or cold weather and pack a picnic
lunch! Please no glass bottles!

( 30 minutes)

Dec. 17 ( Thursday) Possible Test Make Up Day
Dec. 18 ( Friday) ERB 4x Party!!!!!

3. Our Winter Holiday Program Performance ( grades 2 -4) is scheduled
for Friday, December 10th from 9:00 to 10:00. The Holiday Performance
will be followed by a party reception for 4x students, parents,
relatives and caregivers in the 4x classroom. We will need
contributions of treats and drinks for our party. We are asking that
the first half of the alphabet (Apfel through Kraft) contribute drinks
and treats for the after party. Please watch for a separate e-mail
