Dear Parents,Our seniors have begun to plan their Senior Projects, an important part of their Sidwell Friends experience. Many of our students choose to explore the professional workplace through internships to fulfill their Senior Project requirement. To help our students explore different internship possibilities, we are asking for your help. If your organization offers internships for high school students and you are interested in sponsoring a Sidwell Friends senior, please let us know as soon as possible. The Senior Project period takes place from May 3 through June 2. Students are available for up to six hours a day, 30 hours a week, during this five-week period. Sidwell Friends interns may not receive payment for the work they do during Senior Projects. We hope you will consider hiring a Sidwell Friends intern. Please call or email if you have any questions.
