As you may know, we have the great fortune of hosting Josette to speak at a
lunch on the subject of EMPOWERING WOMEN AND GIRLS as part of our effort to
galvanize more women to join forces and help us raise money to support WFP
gender programs.

I would be GRATEFUL if you could perhaps either suggest women to invite - Teresa
Heinz? - or forward the invite directly with me in copy. Thank you for any good
thoughts!

The World Food Program (www.wfp.org) has launched an initiative - the Women's
Leadership Council on Global Hunger - with a goal of galvanizing smart,
committed women from diverse fields to take up the cause of global hunger as an
issue disproportionately affecting women and girls (60+ of the 1.1 billion
hungry are women). Some great women have joined already. I have attached a
backgrounder for more information.

As part of this effort, we are hosting a private lunch with the
dynamic Executive Director from WFP - Josette Sheeran - for a special group of
women and men, who are interested in hearing her speak on women's empowerment in
the developing world and the connection between food security, economic
prosperity and gender. She is fantastic and very rarely in the US. It is our
hope that you could join us for this special lunch. DETAILS BELOW!
