Mr. Smith,
I appreciate the remarks from the Biden's and you. If there is one thing I believe the USSS does well is advance planning, training and teamwork. Thanks to my crew in S. Africa we were able to get Kathleen out with as little additional trauma as possible. I didn't realize how bad it could have been until I saw the x-ray. The important thing is she is home safe. The Bidens are a unique family, unlike any protectee in my 21 years I have served, I am just glad I could assist.
