Begin forwarded message: I'm agreeing that if we can add 3-5 new clients it benefits all. I just want to know who they are and what I need to be doing to secure them.. Get the fees in, have them get RSA preference as it comes and we'll see what happens. So maybe add 3-5 RSP Fund Advisory right away, less drama/rigor/selectivity and let it ride for 6-12 months and see what happens. What were you guys thinking? Really need to figure out those priorities for everyone. It is amazing how a few weeks of not having the call has set us adrift a little. We're all good - but ready for some structure again! Only thing Hunter and I discussed that differs from what you and Neil listed is whether we "maintain" cash flow or try to grow it a little more before we transition away from current advisory clients work to analytics clients. Don't know whether we have the bandwidth to do it and launch the analytics work, but it may give us all some breathing room and put a little less pressure on analytics generating immediate revenue. Hunter and I came to no immediate conclusions, but realize it is a near term question to address. Eric D. Keep me posted and we'll cover on next weeks Mgmt Status. I agree with Devon's priorities, and I'll add: - maintain cash flow and current business until deemed not needed. - ensure Neil is solvent and gets on a diet post-Labor Day. If that is Fund of Funds here is the latest as I know it; as per Eric's advice, I've teed up Marc L to come to DC mid/late Sept to review the Fund of Funds concept with us and all the components and to help facilitate through our options and to arrive at the products/venture that we agree on. Seems like the current FoF product structure is not supported, thus we need to decide to close out or modify the product design and then decide a path forward if any. I was planning on looping Arlene into this mix post Labor Day with Marc to prep for the session and then put in on your calendars plus CDH RHB. Does this still make sense? Let me know. Monday is Labor Day and I think Hunter and Chris can't do Tuesday. Since we haven't had one for a number of weeks because of vacations, etc., I think it'd be good to do one next week if we can. I think 2 or 3 works on our end. Eric D.
