Each winter, hundreds of coats are donated to our Coats of Many Colors Drive.Squeezing in time between a morning workout and afternoon classes,24 Terps worked together to sort, hang and organize the coats. As the Terps loaded on to their bus to head back to campus, one player hung back andwent above and beyond his call to service with a special act of generosity <https://www.catholiccharitiesdc.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.catholiccharitiesdcblog.org%2f2016%2f02%2fmaryland-football-gives-back.html&srcid=28285&srctid=1&erid=1431496&trid=ab266a04-f53e-465f-a631-3b30cf68c411>. The day may have ended with a Hoyas' loss, but we'll count it as a win in our book! [image: Walk with Francis During Lent] How Will you Walk with Francis During this Lenten Season? A neighbor is giving up chocolate. Your brother has stopped playing video games. A friend quit drinking soda. Sound familiar? As we enter the third week of Lent, many are focused on keeping their promise of giving up something during the 40 days of Lent. We think it's time to break the mold. Instead of asking yourself what you will give up, ask yourself what you will start doing this Lenten season. Lent is a time to start new patterns in your life to bring you closer to your faith. In his Lenten message this year, Pope Francis encouraged all to practice the works of mercy with our neighbors in need. Use Lent as an opportunity to continue to Walk with Francis by praying, serving or acting in your community. Need inspiration to get started?
