Hunter,

Happy International Women’s Day! All around the world, women continue to make progress economically, socially, and politically. However, we still have not achieved full equality — and examples of this range from wage discrimination to affordable healthcare access.

We are working to close another gender gap here in Delaware by electing me as the FIRST woman to ever represent the First State in Congress. Take the pledge with me this week to work to create more equal opportunities for women and men throughout the world. http://lisabluntrochester.ngpvanhost.com/form/3933595876234168320

There are millions of women across the world who are denied the opportunity to reach their full potential due to the roadblocks in their way, and I know that story all too well myself.

Thankfully, we have the power to change that by working together, because our effort will pay off and Delaware will join the 21st century by having elected a woman to U.S. Congress. This is the legacy we want to leave for our future generations.

So, Hunter, can I count on you to join me in committing to work toward gender equality? Add your name today. >> http://lisabluntrochester.ngpvanhost.com/form/3933595876234168320

When women are given opportunities to succeed, our families and communities succeed. Let’s work to take concrete steps to achieve gender parity.

Thank you,

Lisa
