Yeah - will do. Actually he called the office and I talked to him
briefly. Told him to send you this email with the specifics. I like it.

*Subject:* *Popular Mechanics story - "Things My Father Taught Me"*

Hi Hunter,
I'm articles editor at Popular Mechanics magazine. For June, we're doing a
theme issue called "Things My Father Taught Me." There will be several
stories related to the theme: a photo essay featuring dads and young sons
at baseball spring training, a look at family businesses with "& Sons" in
the name, a package of handy household tips to teach your kids. We would
love to do an interview with you and your father about what he's taught
you—and vice versa. The staff here at Popular Mechanics is so inspired and
in awe of your dad—how he has devoted his life to public service, how he
has overcome adversity time and again, how he has never tried to hide his
emotions and has thus given tremendous comfort to those who have gone/are
going through similar struggles. We'd be honored to hear about the
influence he has had on you personally. Would you be available any time
before the end of this month? We'd love however much time you can spare,
though we could make do with as little as fifteen minutes. I've sent a
query to your dad via his press secretary, Meghan Dubyak. (If there is a
more appropriate contact for him, let me know.) In case you're not familiar
with Popular Mechanics, it's one of the oldest magazines in America,
launched in 1902 and now published by Hearst. We have a readership of more
than 9 million people each month, and in 2015 we were nominated for two
National Magazine Awards for the second year in a row. Let me know if you
have any questions. Again, it'd be such an honor to feature you in this
issue.
Best,
Sean
