Dear Kathleen & Hunter,

Happy Women's Day! Hope this finds you both well. Todd and I will be at the event below and would love for you to join us in celebrating this Iranian tradition (summary below).
We know it's a busy time of the year (just before our spring break) but let us know if you can come.
Warm regards,Marjan202-664-4706
---------Ten Iranian-American organizations have come together to co-host a Persian New Year Celebration -- Norooz -- at the Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C.The event is on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm and will feature authentic Iranian food and live classical music. The Iranian New Year celebrates the arrival of Spring.
Over 100,000 Americans of Iranian descent reside in the DC Metro area, and as voters, knowledge workers, and investors, they are a key constituency with a sizable economic footprint. This event will host scores of outstanding members of the Iranian-American community, representing leading entrepreneurs, technologists, lawyers, scientists, healthcare professionals, and investors. There will also be many notable, non-Iranian guests, including members of Congress.
We would be honored if you could attend this special celebration.
