Over the next several weeks, I will be participating in Community Conversations and Candidate Forums throughout the 4th Congressional District. These are fantastic opportunities not only for me to share my record and my vision for our community, but also for me to hear from you.

Since announcing my candidacy, I have spoken with voters at community events, in their homes and churches, in barbershops and senior centers, and at shopping centers and Metro stations. As a member of Congress, I'll fight to build on the accomplishments of President Obama to protect Social Security and Medicare, expand early childhood education and provide tuition-free community college. I'll work with you to deliver results and fight against racial and gender discrimination. I look forward to sharing my plans and thoughts with you at these community events.
