Dear Board of Directors, I am looking forward to seeing you next week for our Fall Board of Directors Meeting on Tuesday, October 2 - Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at The St. Regis Hotel (923 16th Street NW) in Washington, DC. I am very pleased to share with you our confirmed special guests for our meeting and hope you will make every effort to join us as we have much to discuss! Confirmed Special Guests: § Former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), a long-time champion on our issue, who remains close with the Administration, his GOP colleagues on Capitol Hill and the faith-community. Santorum, a CNN political analyst, will join us for an off-the-record discussion on how our issues are faring in the current political landscape. § Heather Nauert, Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, a key member of Secretary Pompeo's inner circle, will join us for a conversation on the importance of development and diplomacy. Not only does this present an opportunity to deepen our relationship with the Administration, but note that Heather is often mentioned as a potential future White House Press Secretary. § Nick Kristof of the New York Times will be our guest at dinner on Tuesday evening to share his insights on the current state of play on politics, humanitarianism, and global affairs - should be fascinating. § We are working to confirm our Capitol Hill guest and look forward to sharing with you shortly.
