Republican candidate for Kentucky Attorney General Todd P’Pool launched his first campaign ad this past Monday citing his experience as Hopkins County Attorney, his faith, and his opposition to “Obamacare”, which has become a staple of his campaign. Links: 9. mailto:stefan@democraticags.org P’Pool’s ad comes just days after the Republican Party of Kentucky launched an attack ad on incumbent Attorney General Jack Conway (D). The two ads mark the beginning of a public awareness campaign that the P’Pool camp has been promising since seeing dismal poll numbers in June. A cn|2 poll conducted in early June indicated General Conway had a 26 point lead over his opponent, which P’Pool attributed to a lack of public awareness of his campaign. Both General Conway and County Attorney P’Pool were unchallenged in their early summer primaries and are gearing up for an intense campaign season.
