Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley late Friday appeared to extend a deadline for Brett Kavanaugh's accuser to reply to a GOP offer for her to appear on Wednesday to testify about her decades-old allegation against the Supreme Court nominee.

Christine Blasey Ford's attorneys had decried a previous 10 p.m. cutoff deadline to offer a response to the Judiciary GOP's offer.

In response, Grassley tweeted: "Judge Kavanaugh I just granted another extension to Dr Ford to decide if she wants to proceed w the statement she made last week to testify to the senate She shld decide so we can move on I want to hear her. I hope u understand. It's not my normal approach to b indecisive."
