Donald Trump's news conference with Vladimir Putin yesterday was an international embarrassment.

But more to the point, if there was any doubt as to whether Donald Trump will do anything and everything to defend the United States against all enemies and adversaries, we got our answer: He will not.

So now it's up to us. We have to encourage Congress to act. Not just tweet. To act. To investigate him, not the investigators. For two Senators to switch parties to take away his power in the Senate. To hold him accountable in any way we can.

And if Congress won't hold Trump accountable, we must elect a Congress that will. We're working on that, but we cannot do it alone:
