Dear All - As some of you may have heard, my last day here at the White House will be Friday, May 27th. From staffing Sunday Shows and hearings in the Senate, to traveling with the Vice President everywhere from Baghdad to Boise - this has been an incredible five years. It has been the honor of my life to serve this Vice President and this White House, and an experience I will take with me everywhere I go. I will miss everyone here tremendously. I've seen some of you much more than I've seen my family these last few years, and I'm so proud of the work we've done together. But most of all, I will miss the Vice President. It has been a privilege working for someone who I learned from every day, who always kept me on my toes and who challenged each of us to think about the world differently. Many of you know, I went to law school at night while working for then-Senator Biden and I finished up right before coming to the White House. I've decided to return to the original plan of practicing law, so let's hope my years sparring with reporters will translate well to sparring in the courtroom. While I'm leaving the White House, I am staying local, so I expect that none of you will be strangers.
