The ZERO Board of Directors Annual Meeting is scheduled for June 7th at
12:00pm. *Please note the location has changed. The meeting will now take
place in the G Street Office of ZERO in Washington D.C.* Lunch will be
provided. David Buckner will be in contact with you directly regarding your
Congressional visits. Attached you will find important ZERO documents in
advance of the meeting including ZERO’s 2010 Annual Report.


Please be sure to write you Senators to support funding for the Prostate
Cancer Research Program. Kevin sent an action alert earlier today, but the
link to the website is below for your convenience. Also, be sure to share
this information with others in your personal network to support your fight
against prostate cancer as a Board Member of ZERO.

ZERO will be adding three new staff members in the coming weeks. Ron
Sallerson will be joining ZERO on June 1 as the organization’s Director of
Individual Giving where he will be tasked with heading up the organization’s
annual giving campaign and major donor cultivation and retention. Sallerson
has a strong fundraising background and comes from the American Society of
Clinical Oncology Foundation and has previous experience with the American
Kidney Foundation.


ZERO’s new press secretary Melissa Kadish starts on June 13. She joins us
from George Washington University Medical Center where she worked as the
senior Media and Communications Coordinator. Kadish, who also had agency
experience, will head up the organization’s media outreach and manage ZERO’s
online web and electronic newsletter content.


After running his own graphic and art design company for 10 years, Mariano
Lim, who previously worked as an art director for Ogilvy, PR will fill the
position of graphic designer for ZERO, responsible for creating all
promotional print pieces for ZERO including all race materials, mailers and
special projects like the annual report and sponsorship packets. Mariano
will come on board on June 6th.

in June or in planning your trip in September.
