Update on Puppy Fighting for Life We want to thank each and every one of you who donated last week to help the sick puppy we took in who needed an emergency blood transfusion. This puppy and his siblings had suffered greatly and it was only with your support that we were able to get the sickest one the best possible vet care available. We are heartbroken to report that the puppy died over the weekend as a result of his many ailments. Everything possible was tried. In the end, his little body just could not keep going. We do bring hope however, in that his sibling was able to receive supportive care from two vets and is now in foster doing quite well, with the prospect of meeting a potential adopter this week. We thank you again for being part of our ongoing efforts to save lives. Even when we fail to reach our goal of life saving, we do know we give the animals in our care the best we can and certainly alleviate suffering. THANK YOU!
