my deepest desire is to help move us all beyond divisions back to simply caring for each other. Dear DC yoga friends, Little ones need to be held. And loved. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I won't turn away - even when people tell me they won't come to Flow for being "political" for hosting a fundraiser to bring families back together. They are always welcome to come to Flow, as my deepest desire is to help move us all beyond divisions back to simply caring for each other. My hope is that Flow & your practice is a catalyst for you to find what lies deep inside your own hearts, your passions, your purposes and that we can provide a space for everyone to step into their best selves, their best lived lives in a supportive community. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Will you join me tomorrow, July 14th, 630pm on the lawn of the gorgeous National Cathedral for a yoga class to raise $$$ for Together Rising which supports asylum-seeking children and families separated in crisis? Dear DC Yoga Community, Families belong together. Let’s turn our collective heartbreak into support for families devastated by separation at the US border. Flow Yoga Center, Washington National Cathedral, Extend Yoga, DAREdaily and the DC Community Yoga Association are teaming up on SATURDAY JULY 14 at 6:30pm where hundreds of people will gather for an outdoor yoga class led by some of DC's beloved teachers (stay tuned for list!) on the beautiful North Lawn of the Washington National Cathedral, turning our collective heartbreak into support. Join us to help send thousands of dollars to help advocate for and reunite separated families. 100% of the proceeds of this event will go to Together Rising to fund organizations working on the ground to reunite families, provide legal support, and bring healing in the face of trauma. Suggested donation $25….$50...$75 or more (sliding scale so no one will be turned away). Anything you can give will go a long way in helping reunite families. There is no need for special registration for the 14th – Simply make your donation here which will act as your registration, and then come to the event. Bring your friends, bring your families.
