Founded by Save the Children in 2014, Save the Children Action Network is a new 501 (c)(4) organization that aims to mobilize Americans around a commitment that cannot wait - investing in early childhood now.

Dear Hunter,

Jeanne and my oldest child, Molly, turned 18 yesterday. I don't know where the time went – all of a sudden it seems, our "Mollsie" is an adult and about to vote in her first election. And what an election it is!

But amidst the craziness, the team at Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) has been talking with the presidential candidates from both parties about our two issues: early childhood education here at home and saving the lives of moms and kids around the world.

From hosting the "Conversation with the Candidate" series in New Hampshire, to talking with the candidates as they traveled through Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, SCAN supporters have taken every opportunity to ask the candidates how they would invest in kids. We compiled those answers into the videos below. If you have a few minutes to watch, I would welcome your thoughts.

Presidential candidates on maternal, newborn and child survival (https://t.e2ma.net/click/dq1rt/h9ytd/x9hldi)

We will keep the pressure on the candidates, particularly as the field narrows and we head into the conventions. I will keep you posted on our efforts, but if you have any thoughts or questions, please don't hesitate to call or email.

Many thanks, as always, for your support. And happy birthday, Molly!

Warmly,

Mark
