Dear Parents:As we gear up for the start of the 2018/19 school year, we’d like to give you a brief tour of the new Parent QuakerZone—the online home for your child’s report cards and schedules, as well as a tool for sharing changes to your child’s attendance, pick-up, or aftercare. You will also submit any changes to your household’s contact information via QuakerZone. An important change to note: Please now submit all attendance updates through QuakerZone or by calling the office directly. See below for instructions. The old email addresses are no longer in use. To access QuakerZone, log in to the Parent Portal (by selecting “Parents” from the Community dropdown on www.sidwell.edu) [external link removed], and click on the orange QuakerZone button. Parent QuakerZone Home: Returns you to this pageMessages: Access emails sent from our student information system, including those from your child’s principal, teacher/advisor, and PA grade rep. These also get delivered to your normal email inbox.My Calendar: Displays calendar events associated with your child(ren)’s division (Lower, Middle, Upper), as well as all-School events. These are also available in the Parent Portal.Account Settings: Click here to change your Parent Portal/QuakerZone password or to log out of QuakerZone.My Children: Your student’s schedules, report cards, and interims (MS/US only) will be accessible here, as they become available.Calendar: A five-day calendar will display, and below you can access the All-School Calendar and Athletics Calendar. These calendar events are also accessible in the Parent Portal.Directories: Search for a student/household or download a grade-level PDF directory.Update Household Information: Change phone/email/address for you or any member of your household. This is also where you can add/edit emergency contacts and register a student vehicle for on-campus parking.Attendance/Change Pick-Up: Use this tool to report your child’s absence or communicate changes to how your child is getting home. You can also submit a change to your child’s aftercare status, including the need to sign up for drop-in care. The divisional attendance email addresses are no longer in use, but parents may also phone the divisional offices, if preferred.
