TOWNS PICKS UP TWO LOBBYING CLIENTS: Former Rep. Edolphus Towns has registered two new lobbying clients, according to documents filed this week. Towns - the former chairman of the House Oversight Committee - will be lobbying for Comcast and Deloitte Consulting, according to new lobbying registrations. For Comcast, he'll be working on "telecommunication and cable television matters" and for Deloitte, he'll be lobbying on "financial services and employment matters." Both vague and undescriptive lobbying registrations were filed by the firm Gray Global Advisors - but they're under Towns' own name. He's also doing work for the government of Morocco, according to records posted with the Department of Justice earlier this year.
