Hope you’re enjoying the summer. I’ll be passing through D.C. in early September for about a week for my nephews Bar Mitzvah and to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Want to try to grab lunch on Sept. 8 or 9?


We just had a great trip to Maine with the family at a lake. Waterskiing, tubing, lobster, and ice-cream. My brother-in-law’s been going to the same place for more than 40 years. Fantastic time with our family, my sister’s family and Tracy’s sister’s family. I’m ready to quit my job and move there (at least for the six weeks out of the year when the weather’s nice).


Have you already done your lake vacation?


We’re back in Lima now, anxiously awaiting our ongoing assignment. Looks like it probably will be Ecuador, but nothing’s definite yet.
