Lost in all the back and forth on the debt deal is one important fact: GOP plans to end Medicare and gut Social Security were kept off the table. And GOP plans to end Medicare and gut Social Security will REMAIN off the table during the second round. Because 200,000 of you made your voices heard, we were able to hold the line on this – no small victory for the American people. Thank you for speaking out!

Meanwhile, the "Hell No" Caucus is onto its next fight. The GOP is refusing to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration unless the bill includes a union-busting provision Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker would be proud of. The The GOP's intransigence has left 74,000 people out of work at the FAA and on transportation construction projects. It's hurting our economy, and it's actually costing the federal government money through fees it can't collect.
